DAY 1: NAIROBI / MOUNT KENYA

Pick up from hotel for a safari to Mount Kenya . Picnic lunch en route, time permitting, an afternoon nature walk to the Mau Mau Caves located in the Mount Kenya forest. Dinner and overnight at the Bantu Lodge campsite. The drive takes 3 hours.

Day 2: MOUNT KENYAS/AMBURU GAME RESERVE

 Depart Mount Kenya for Samburu via the scenic surroundings with Picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed on for an evening game drive in search for lions, elephants, gerenuk, grevy’szebra, onyx, the reticulated giraffe and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at Ewaso Nyiro River campsite

Day 3 & 4: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

 Early morning game drive, return to the campsite for breakfast, after breakfast another game drive, return for lunch at the campsite, siesta at the campsite followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day5: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE/LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart after breakfast past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. [Picnic lunch enroute]. Time permitting proceed on for an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at a guesthouse or hostel inside the park or campsite.

Day 6, and 7: MASAI MARA

Lake Nakuru National Park / Masai Mara Game Reserve Depart after breakfast forMasai Mara with picnic lunch en route. On arrival you will proceed on for anafternoon game drive: Masai Mara is a resting place of the big five, it’s amajor attraction of the great wildebeests and zebra migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania, this normally happens in July and September annually. Dinner& overnight at our campsite.

Day 7 and 8: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day game drive with picnic lunches or early morning, mid morning,and  afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Masai Mara is aresting place of the big five, it’s a major attraction of the great wildebeests and zebra migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania, this normally happens inJuly and September.

Day 9: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE/NAIROBI

Early morning game drive, after breakfast departs for Nairobi with picnic lunches to arrive by 1600h.
